For the third straight year, Madison South Neighborhood
Association has been awarded a grant from Central Northeast Neighbors (CNN) to
continue the Neighborhood Block Party Events this summer!
It's clear that all the hard work done to put on the past two summers'
events really paid off, and will help pave the way for 2010.
The next Block party is scheduled for August 10th at NE 83rd and Klickitat Street.
The fifth and final Block Party of the summer is scheduled for August 24th at NE 86th and Eugene Street.
All Block Parties will begin at 6:30 pm.
Volunteers are
needed to circulate flyers door-to-door to advertise the event in the surrounding area in the
week prior to each Block Party, and help setting up and taking down
tables and canopies for each event is also welcomed!
We need the support of committed neighbors to make these events a success.
