Portland Plan Gears Up, Seeks Input
1/22/2010

Make YOUR voice heard! The Portland Plan will be our City's strategic plan for the next 25 years. It will help to define our priorities, guide how we'll invest our public dollars and set the course for our City, ensuring that it continues to thrive and be sustainable, with health, education and opportunity for all. The Portland Plan will include long-term objectives and short-term strategies, including an update of the City's Comprehensive Plan. The latter is required of all cities in the State of Oregon, and must be updated regularly via a periodic review process. The Comprehensive Plan guides local decisions about development, livable neighborhoods, and preservation of natural resources. Updates of this plan must focus on the city's goals, policies and actions for the next 25 years. Click here to view all Four Phases of the Portland Plan at the Project website.
